i know daizen has control arm bushing kits for the front and rear for our cars.
would it be cheaper and just as good to replace those bushings with daizens. or buy complete control arms with new ball joints included?

how common is it for the ball joints to be needing replacement? my car has a lot of miles but it's a 98.
would new control arms feel similar to a poly bushing one if they ball joints are still good? how about buying a new control arm and putting the daizen bushing in that? or is that a waste of money?
you'd have to take the entire control arm off anyway right to get the bushings out and press the new ones in?
how hard is it to take the control arm off? any DIY threads on it?
