Default Bouncy ride NF210's stock shocks

I had NF210's installed on stock shocks this weekend. The ride is pretty comfortable and not much different than stock except for a little bounce. I notice it at lower speeds for example in a slightly uneven parking lot. My previous Acura Legend had a similar issue but it had 150k miles . I definitly took notice that the GS400 didn't do this stock but did when the springs were installed it was noticible.

My question is this: Is this "bounce" due to the nature of the springs or do the shocks need to be replaced? The GS400 is a 99 with 70k miles.

It is always recommended to change to performance shocks when installing lowering springs because of this reason. Too bad you'll have to pay the same install fee unless you do your own work.

There was no evidence of a shock problem with stock springs and no evidence that they needed to be replaced at the time of spring install. I want to keep as close to factory ride as possible. The bounce I am speaking not something that is really harsh or present during most normal driving. It is just something that is different after spring install. If I can get a little closer to the factory ride with different shocks then I open for recomendations.

Check your air pressure. You might have way to much air in the tires.

Also check out your local Lexus club, www.seloc.net in Atlanta!

I'm thinking I am may ride these NF210's for a couple of weeks and decide. I looking for maximum comfort. I am considering some tein cs's. By the time I have paid for the the NF210's, + install, then KYB's + install, I could almost pay for the tein cs's.
