Dealer gave me 2008 dust pads for tsb instead of dustless pads, what should I do?
So I went to get the tsb for the brake dust last week on my 2006 is250. The dealer switched it out with part number 04465-53040 which are actually the oem brake bads for all 2008 is250 and are still the pads which have dusts.
I should have gotten part number 04465-53030 which in fact are the dustless ones.
Just posted this new info for others that have gotten the tsb done, the 2008 pads do have dust and the part number is below.
Now the question is this:
The warranty is for 4 years/48,000 miles. I have had my car for 26 months and have 25k miles. Should I wait until right up to the warranty is about to expire to bring it back in because they didn't do the correct tsb or should i just get it done again?
Any input would be great, thanks.
