This is great info for the Lexus noobs!!! Pictures of each spring setup would be awesome here. I've searched so much the past 3 weeks for springs and rims and tires and body kits and, and, and.... I've forgotten most of what I found..LOL

How far can you drop before you need to replace the shocks? I had been thinking about he eibach pro kit for a 350. Per the numbers in this thread, that's 1" in the front and .8" in the back.

Default Question re: awd

All, I am new to the lexus world. I just bought an 08 Is250 AWD. I want to drop the car and love the info available here. I am curious though, is there anything that I need to know with respect to AWD cars? I did not see the AWD on the Eibach website.

Thanks,

If you want to drop the AWD, i belive coilovers is your best bet. I think there are two kind of springs for the AWD, but heard they suck.

Is there anyone who can confirm that the IS250/350 RWD springs will fit the AWD?

Right now I have the Tanabe NF210 springs and love the feel of the ride compared to stock. This is on an IS350 with 18" Lumarai rims.

Smile "S" Tech or "H" Tech?!?!

Hey guys Am bout to buy some lowering springs for my 2008 IS250 and wasn't sure whether I should get the S Tech or the H Tech springs from Tein. Would anyone out there be willing to give me some advice or let me know what would look better. Currently just have the 18" stock rims on there, but later might get some 19" Vossen rims Thanks in advance!

I had s-techs, upgraded to coils, but the s-techs were good, no problems/squeaks, didn't notice any unevenness of th drop. Good springs, just depends on what height youre looking for

Mine are for sale too. Haha
