No, thats not what he's asking.

The perch the springs on is separately adjustable from the lower bracket of the coilover, he isn't talking about raising the "rings" as you call them. He is talking about the lower bracket (as Tein calls it, (different part than the rings)), as it is able to be screwed up and down on the same threaded body that the spring perch's are on. Flex's are adjustable via spring perch and lower bracket adjustment. The lower bracket can be adjusted .98" up or down above and beyond what the perch's can do. Flex's will go much further down than 3" if everything is "lowered" all the way.
