I ordered the daizen rack bushings from tmengineering that everyone recommends about two weeks ago. I got a confirmation email...but I haven't heard or seen anything since. I ordered stuff after that that has already been installed on the car for a week now. I emailed them...and no response.

Just wondering if this is normal?

 

i heard from todd last week and he did say that he was out of of these bushings for now. i'm sure he'll get more. todd's a busy dude...hopefully he'll get back to you soon.

Yeah me too. I ordered mine about a week ago myself and have sent at least one email asking for an update and have yet to receive anything. I have been charged for them though, so I'm hoping they aren't too far off from being delivered.

 

i didnt want to wait for them so i made my own ....solid steel rack bushings FTW

 

we should tell 'em to refund it til they have the bushings in stock then I'll reorder. that's $50 that could be used right now. There was no warning on the site that they aren't in stock.

 

Charging for things ahead of time I can sometimes see them doing, but not answering an email with a simple question at least a week old is not acceptable. I wouldn't still be in business if I did things that way. I just sent them another email and I will be proceeding with a chargeback if I don't hear anything soon. I'm sure they aren't THAT busy and can spend a simple 2 min to answer a paying customers email.

just sent an email requesting refund or some sort of correspondance. I'm starting to get irritated because I see whoever runs it has time to post replies to other peoples posts on here but not give a simple email response to a customer.

 

I had the same problem, sent an e-mail for order status and never received a response. Waited a week and never received my bushings, so I decided to give them a call and he answered the first time I called. I guess something happened in their system where my order never went through, even though I received a order confirmation in my e-mail. Said it would get sent out the next day, received it within 3 days and this was last week when i received them. So I would try giving him a call, I too got worried from reading previous threads, but he seemed like a cool dude when I talked to him and seemed real sorry for the delay. Hope he gets things straightened out with you guys too!

 

Ordered my sway bar bushings on 2/13 got them 2/19.

 

Mine finally showed up yesterday. I'm still a bit upset that two emails go unanswered just from me, not to mention the others in here, but yet they can respond to other threads and other things well after my email was sent. Odd.

WOW, I guess im not the only 1 then ..... I still havnt recieved an order for Daizan swaybar and steering rack bushings that i ordered from Sewell back on December 4th either.
When i sent an Email requesting order status Dec 17th , they did reply. Stating they would send em when they recieved em. But I still dont have em, and i havnt heard anything since either..... So I just sent an E-mail requesting status.

 

I received mine a few days ago finally...I installed them last night and I'm still very sore from all the awkward manipulation of my body to get the top nut on the driver side bushings. You seriously have to be a contortionist to get everything out and then back in place again.

But anyway, yeah it was a little frustrating going 3 weeks w/out so much as an email from them.
