Garnet,

Those are the same rims I always have on my car. They are Racing Hart C5 3-piece rims. Too bad, due to too many knock-off's, they have been dis-continued.

Dexter – am I close if I estimate that about $600 covered the drive-away price? Looks like a nice installation – you’re really building a Lexus showpiece there – got pretty much all of the mods that I’ll eventually have. TC and wheels are on the horizon for me.

Jacob, are those new wheels? I don’t remember noticing them before but I really like them – what are they? Can’t quite make out the name.

Yep - I washed my car yesterday and didn't realize how dusty my wheels were until I cleaned 'em.

Even today there is visible dust. Not a big deal really; it wipes right off. I can live with it.

Since I don't think you got your car new you wouldn't have seen that even the stock brake pads generate a fair bit of dust when new. So your dust levels may drop over time.

Quit breaking so hard and so much. Just drive around hazard instead of break for hazard. Accelerate instead of break......you figure that's why you got the V8....right guys?

vroom, vroom, vroooom!

Jacob....you talked about rotors that never rust from SG?? you said cad-plated? are those for real, and is cad-plated like cadmium plated? will they fit the GS4 w/ 17" stocks? what do they look like and how much??

What do you guys think about these rotors? I saw these rotors on ebay and they look pretty cool to me:

Hi Dexter..... Nice!

I've found that using an electric leaf blower, $69 at Home Depot, after washing the GS, keeps rust from forming on the rotors. If possible for you, you'll keep that brand new look a lot longer...

Thanks for all the pics...

JACOB,

Can you tell us a little more on those coated rotors from SG? How much do they cost compared to the ones Dexter has?

Thanks for the info.

OK, Guys,

Here's the deal. I ordered those cadmium plated rotors (made by Racing Technology) from SG @ Carson Toyota. They are gold/bronze color due to the coating, but the surface will turn shining after several brakes. They are x-drilled and will never rust.

I ordered the stock size rotor for the rear for $120/each and SupraTT rotors for front for $150/each.

What's the approximate price on the Supra TT calipers??? Can you still use the stock brake pads or do the brake pads have to be upgraded as well?
