One non major thing to also note is the LS400 pads do not have the steel screech bars for when they wear out as the LS has an sensor on one pad instead.

Just finished installing them. I to have the long pedal travel. Feels like the stock ****ty brakes until you get on it, which is pointless to me. Is there anything I can do to make these brakes a little more sensitive and responsive. I feel the biggest difference when I get on it, but why would I want to get on it all the time?

As mentioned before replace the seals in them and it will stop 300 % better with less pedal effort and a very stiff pedal for much faster engagment as well as better pressure regulation for braking.

The brake is a simple mechanism. There's a couple of reasons it does that. First, the calipers have to go to the right side, and the bleed valves have to be in the up position. If the bleed valves are in down position, the calipers are in the wrong side. Second, the air is still trapped in the lines. The bleeding hose must show no air bubbles in the bleeding hose. It took me about 15 minutes to completely bleed each corner. Third, the dust rubber boots around the pistons must be in good condition. If there's a leak, the air will come in and the fluid will leak. Follow these 3 things and I'm sure the braking will be much better.

The last thing is to swap to the stainless steel brake lines. They help to improve the braking force.

They can be found on Ebay or other brake stores. However, don't use the brands like Magnum on Ebay..etc. I had mine broke just after a short time on both front. The Goodridge is a good brand that can be trusted. Other good brand may be Stop Tech that's double the price.

They don't even make brakelines for the BBK model years ('95-'00). Do these brake lines include the little nozzle with the mounting prong that attaches to the caliper itself or do I have to get the SC one?

Yes, they do. All 92-00 SCs use the same brake lines from what I know. In fact, mine is a 95 SC4. I even think the LS and SC use the same lines.
