After the struts were replaced. TRAC OFF light is blinking and the ABS light remains ON. The shop was responsible and ordered the chips and the software to resolve this issue. They now claim it's fixed but the lights are still on. They told me it takes 20+ times of engine start or 10+ ABS usage for those lights to go off. Are they pulling my legs?

yes, yes, and more yes.....unplug your battery for 10+ minutes, plug it back in, and go for a half hour drive...remember, the first 10 times you accelerate to 40, your car will learn your driving style and adjust fuel usage, shift speed, and other things to fit your style..it will also give the OBD time to reset and retest its self. if the codes are still thrown at you, then it isnt fixed

Well it's been almost 3 months and this is still happening. My mechanic has no idea and wants me to take the car into the dealer and get it evaluated. My dealer charges $129/hr which of course fall on me. Is there any other possible way for my mechanic to fix it before I shell out more $ which I should not have been responsible?
