CS will not give you 0 gap on 19's (35/30 series tires) and ride is stock.
HKS RS will tuck front tires a bit and for sure the rears. my ride is stiff (i havent adjusted default setting when i installed them). i'm too afraid if i adjust too soft, i'm gonna rub the hell outta my rears. i may play with it in a couple months. i'm too busy with work to play with my car now.

yes, i've had espelir/shock combo, CS v2, and now on RS. GL and let us know how u like the HKS!

I currently have the CS's and LOVE the drop but can't stand the noises. I've had L-Tuned as well as Espilier/KYB as far as shock/springs, and took a good long look at the HKS, JIC/VIP, and Bilsteins in coilovers. VERY interested in your perspective on the HKS.

I had the EXACT same dilemma and it boiled down to which one I can live with more. Can I live with the car being slightly stiffer or can I deal with driving around knowing my car isn't as low as I'd like it? Needless to say, I value outward appearance more than my own comfort However, after doing some research the HKS RS are VERY similar in terms of spring rate (I believe 10/8) but I will confirm that once I get it. Mine is schedule to arrive on thursday so I will post then. I wouldn't purchase anything until I post the spring rates. IF its' close to the CS and you are willin gto spend an extra $250, go with the RS

yeah,
RS:
goes lower
30way adjust (the 2 adjuster ***** mounts to the rear extends a lot, and the one for the front I just keep in the glove box slot by the CD changer)
CS:
EDFC (but comes separate and have to install and wire)

Also never heard of any problems with RS, only good comments were ever heard, I've got nothing to complain at all.

Ok...the RS came in last night. Thanks Luis@ Carson for super fast shipping and being an all around great guy.

Quick question. I was reading up on the DIY thread here and they said it's easier to take out the front struts if I turn the wheel. Does it matter which way I turn? I am assuming if I'm doing the driver side, I turn the wheel to the left?

I don't know how to DIY that, but just a note to be sure, it might be wise to take the ABS sensor out first, I don't know since I didn't install it myself, but the shop that did the install torn all 4 of my ABS sensor wires.

Default Ok...ran into first snag

The RS says "Right" and "left" on the front struts. does right mean driver side or passenger side? Anyone?

left-driver
right-passenger

technically i dont think it should matter in general. but i think hks mfr'd the struts specifically for each side to accommodate attaching one of the lines to the struts or something (if i recall correctly).

btw, post pics after installed! if i'm correct, default settings should drop you to about 2 fingers on all 4 GL!
