Default To buy or not to buy

I'm thinking about buying this for my DD SC300. price is a concern but I want to be comfortable and happy. What do you think about this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-98...spagenameZWD1V ? or should I go with TEIN SS?

any advice/ experience is appreciated

I haven't heard any bad tings about meagan racing coilovers, but IMO the price is pretty comprable to Tein and I love my Tein's and that's the only company I've ever bought. So IMO, i'd say the Tein SS's.

megan racing coilovers are pretty reliable. I don't know on a lexus...but on my friend's Acura RSX and Acura TSX, they ride smooth.

I personally would recommend the Tein SS coilover system as well...but megan racing offers good ride quality and easy drop...for the Acuras anyway

again not sure on a lexus though.

I have heard from some of my 240sx friends that they ride really harsh...even when set soft..but different car, so you may have different results

i heard decent results in the 240 crowd. havent heard anything for the sc though. i would still say get stance. its only a few hundred more and will ride much better....im willing to bet on it. the megans are 900, plus 50 shipping, making it 1000(light rounding). for 1200 you can get a set of stance. call touge factory and talk to the guys about the price. they might be able to a better price. PM MILTDOG(i think). he just got a set of stance. ask him how much he paid. i think he got them from touge factory. not 100% sure though.

call touge factory and ask for Earl or TF Dave. say that pavel referred you and you're from club lexus.

i have actually heard good things about the megan racing coilovers a good buddy if mine has a set on his supra and he likes them.
they are of good quality parts i believe the springs are actually made by apexi and possibly the actual whole assembly just spec'd for megan racing and sold for extremely cheap now dont quote me on this but this is what ive heard a call to them could confirm

I have them on my SC400.

They're not bad; but remember, you get what you pay for. Ride quality is decent, but not perfect.
