Can the SC be a great handling car?
Well Im pretty new here and I havnt had my sc but 2 months. I have been mostly into Honda's up until about 4 months ago. I know the sc has great potential for big power and look awesome but can a sc ever handle like a honda. I know there is a big weight difference but with some aftermarket parts: sway bars, strut bars, springs, struts, control arms, etc. I really want my sc to be just an all around awesome car to drive whether its down back roads, on the interstate, the drag strip or whatever. Im just wanting to hear from the sc veterans on how there cars do and where is a great place for suspension parts. Thanks

i wouldnt make a such a blanket statement that FWD sucks. its not ideal but you can have a really well handling car.
my buddy eric from touge factory use to have a 2000 civic hatch with B16 and a lot of suspension mods. it was an amazing autocross car. last time he took it out he lost by 0.3seconds to a datsun 510 with a rotary in it. the datsun was trailered to the track while my buddy drove his car there and back.
i love RWD and definitely prefer it over FWD but lets not be stupid about this. there are plenty of successful FWD racecars.

when i was in college i had a 97 2door 5speed civic ex with stock suspension. my sc300 also has stock suspension. these cars are so different that its hard to compare them, they feel completely different. the civic was fun to drive because it was so light and when i wanted some oversteer i'd just grab the ebrake. even with all the extra weight the sc300 is more fun to drive, rwd ftw!
