Best use of money toward Suspension upgrades

13F/8R is going to be way too soft. most sc coilover are 14/8 which is like stock. stance is usually 18/12. i would probably go somewhere around 18/14...but all depends on cars weight after all the mods are done.

I think I will be ok Ill just up the dampening. I think I hit the sweet spot for what I want. If not ill order another set of springs.
I am going to move the battery to the rear, CF hood, and cf trunk.
We need something like this for us : http://www.lancerforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=66296

Hi 5sp_jzz30.
I from Russia to the Urals Mountains (Yekaterinburg) to the Lexus SC 300-97 of engines 2JZ-GE. My SC 300-97 wheels at 17x8/9" (235х45/255х40). My goal - to travel quickly and more aggressively on public roads. Roads in Russia - this is not an American ring, and not even the American road. Coilover spring at the - before - 14k gf / mm and backwards - 10 kgf / mm are not suitable for Russian roads. After the installation of such springs - knock your teeth, jumping machine, makes reshuffling overtaking. This is bad.
Read your theme: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=344171.
The company - "Air Force Suspension" (http://www.airforce-sus.com/about.htm) offers Air Force coilovers suspension kit for the Lexus SC 300.
What brand coilovers suspension kit for the Lexus SC 300-97 in the Urals in Russia:
Air Force coilovers suspension kit?
Tein Comfort Sport: before - 10 kgf / mm, ago - 6 kgf / mm. ?
Tein Super Street: before - 14 kgf / mm, ago - 8 kgf / mm. ?
Jic-magic FLT-TA R: before - 20 kgf / mm, ago - 12 kgf / mm. ?
Thank you very much for your attention to my questions.
Good luck.
Vadim

i think changing all the bushing will make a huge difference already since your bushing is probably all ripped. then i would get the sway bars (however coilovers makes your car lower and look better), then i would get coil.

TT front bar is exactly the same as the SC front sway bar...There are no differences btw the two...The only thing you are upgrading is the rear TT sway which is shaped different than the SC rear sway...The thickness is exactly the same so performance gains are relatively small when compared to the Daizen bars...
Daizen sways are a far better upgrade for the money as it has the potential to upgrade the ride over 100% stiffer (its a 110% stiffer to be exact)...As compared to an estimated 20% with the Supra TT rear sway bar swap...In addition, Daizens are also 3 way adjustable in the rear and directly bolts on without any added parts...For TT rears, you will need new subframe mounts which are not cheap either at 170 shipped...When its all said and done, your looking at close to $300 dollars for parts to upgrade to TT...For the extra $200, Daizen is the far better choice when you compare pound for pound in both the price and performance gains...
All in all, Daizens are the best bang for the buck at 500 since you are upgrading, not only the rear, but BOTH front and rear sways...

My Tein CS coils are rated at 10F/8R if I remember correctly...At the hardest setting, they ride mildly hard but yet still on the comfort side...I can still take sharp corners with confidence and it turns moderately flat with all the Daizen bushings upgraded...At the softest setting, they ride very much like a boat, sways back and forth, and floats on corners...I currently ride in the middle setting (8 clicks from the stiffest), I get the best of both worlds..Great ride comfort and handling...
From my experience, 18F/8R is a HARD ride...If you're looking to AutoX then this setup is ideal, otherwise, you're gonna have one hell of a headace afterwards...
Based on observations and experience with several other setups, there is no way a stock ride is anywhere near 14F/8R...

Supra subframe mounts are only 61 bucks a piece my cost @ local Toyota dealership.
Once you have those subframe mounts it opens your world to all the many choices of sway bars designed for the supra.
Sure the stock supra bar in the rear won't do a tremendous amount but whitelines, the TRD bars, or BIG *** TRD bars, tanabe, or cusco will and they cost less than diazens. And you're more likely to find a cheap set on supraforum classifieds.
$500 just seems like a lot to throw down on a set of sway bars when it's just less than half the cost of a Stance coilovers. Money well spent.
