Another What caliper color?! Need Opinions!
Sup all I have searched and read a lot and just wanted you alls specific opinion on what caliper color would suit my car the best im leaning hard twords red, or black im just going paint my stock calipers for now until I upgraded latter. Also im still debating rather to paint the calipers on the car or take them off...I dont want to have to bleed the whole system and what not and I don't plain on spray painting think im going to use a brush. Also some paint types/brands opinions are welcome.

I am planning on doing the same thing with my '93. My calipers are awful with a moderate amount of rust. I would like to remove the calipers, remove the rust with a wire wheel, paint them silver or gun metal and then replace them, with new pads, of course. Removing the calipers from the car is easy ... bleeding each line when you are done is not really that difficult if you have a helper.
My goal is to keep the car looking great while keeping it stock so my color of choice is silver ...

i have a black sc and i painted my calipers black but i wish i would have painted them red. black looks good, better than unpainted/rust but the black is too hard to see.
by the way, i used duplicolor's caliper paint kit. it works great and it was easier than spray paint.

I think im going to go red because blacks to sutle, I think red will complement it well.
Yea Im looking at a kit in the summit magazine thats like 16$ and comes with the paint, and Brush, masking tape ect. full kit thats dupicolor. Can anyone track down and post a picture of a black sc with my similar setup with nice red calipers.

i think we need a sticky for this. pics of sc in different color with different color calipers. it can even be the same car with diff colors photoshoped. that would help everyone without the need for a caliper color thread every week.
