For some reason, i thought it was a lot more involved installation wise.

Thanks for the write up, and pics as i have been wondering about these for sometime now.

nice write up on the DIY
i agree if you're on 8.5's, run the 245's

i'd run the spacers too but for my rears, but, as low as i love to drive...i would definitely tear up my tires and i dont want to run stretched...kinda old school me

Smile spacers

I did this with my wifes car and mine on the rear wheels several years back.
Both are 99 GS400 running Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 245-45-17.
Wheels look lots better, cars handle better and have had not any problems because of it.
This is an excellent write up and I would reccomend this to everyone.

Sweetness.

I think i'm going to opt for 25mm H&R instead of the 15mm Ichibas, just for the sake of easy installation.

nice write up! you wont notice too much shake or any at all with spacers for the rear wheels, but fronts, u really gotta make sure they are centered, hub centered, or run some hub centric rings.

offtopic, its Jess Alba. Friend of mine works with her for security purposes. he took a quick snap of her with his cam phone and converted it to an animated gif. i just re-edited it to make it fit. got to chat with her for a moment once via msn thru his account. first words were "i apologize for all the perv's on my website" hahahaha.. this is the original

as for the spacers, those H&R ones look like, what i call an "wheel adapter" as it has studs on them already. it only gets more involved when you get spacers that need to have new studs pressed in. with the adapter, you have the option of removing them when needed.

i myself went with project kics cuz i didnt know H&R had these type of spacers. i wanted the option of removing them as i switch to my stock rims for winter purpose. didnt even clear my mind that i could leave them on and just run the winters with them too.

SorrGwa...thanks for the clarification buddy! Sorry for the off topic; I thought it might have been Jessica Alba but was hoping that it wasn't and it was a pic of you or something.lol

As for the H&R wheel spacers I absolutely love what they did for PushinLex's car. I am DEFINITELY doing this as I don't think I will be able to buy staggered wheels anytime soon. I would get the same"DRM" series also because of exact reason you just stated; that is wheel adapter of sorts with an easy install. Love this mod...I'm just wondering if I should do my fronts with a 10 or 15mm and keep the rears at 25mm. Maybe I'll reseach PushinLex's wheels to find out his offset also to get a better idea of what I would need.

Has anyone installed spacers in the front and if so what size? I got the 25MM in the rear but the rear wheels stick out more than the fronts now. I don't wanna do anything to change the rear. I'm now thinking about getting 5 or 10mm spacers for the front. FYI stock wheels are still installed.

wondering this myself, some use 15mm in the front, but i dont want to press new studs in i believe project kics have some 15mm with build in studs, but not sure about the hubcentric part though my car has no front end shake and wouldn't want to ruin that
