Suggestion on Springs
#6
he just prefers eibach. go with the brand you like and read the reviews of what people have to say about the many different springs. some wouldn't even get springs on their 350 or 250 RWD because of the uneven drop from driver to passenger side. those people and others would choose coilovers for a more customizable application

Drop for Eibach for 350 = 0.8" drop front and 1" rear. F Sport 1" all around. How much is Eibach vs F sport. My 2 cents.
I have a 250 so it's hard to compare vs 350. I'm happy with the ride - comfy and not bouncy at all. Still waiting for dampers though.

I got the Eibach's for the 350 installed a few weeks ago. I was just looking to reduce the fender well gap while hoping for no/minimal change in the ride. I have to say I'm happy in both areas. I live in the Atlanta GA area were the roads usually stay in pretty good shape. But honestly, just cruising around, I can't tell any difference in ride quality.
I also followed some advice on here and puchased some Tein coil rubbers for the springs before installation. Not sure if I would have had any squeaks without them, but I can say I don't have any so far.

Amen bro. If you want an even drop, which isn't possible with just springs (as our IS's sit about 0.5" lower on the drivers side than passengers side), than you should consider coilovers. They are adjustable for height, and dampening, so you can change things if and when you want to

Tein makes great springs and Coilovers for our car.
H&R are great for BMW and Audi IMO...
For $$ the Tein S have a nice drop and ride. PM member Brian231 as he was in my car last week when we installed the new brakes. He was impressed with the ride and how low it is.
Coilovers are going to give you everything. Like they say you get what you pay for. My car is leased so I went the cheap route as I will only have my car for another year. Didnt want to eat the cost of the coilovers when I trade in the car or turn it in at end of lease. If I owned the car then coilovers would have been the way to go.
All these places are reliable companies. It really is more about ride and drop? Figure out how low you want to go and how firm of a ride will make you happy? Then you can search on here "or" call our vendors and ask questions! They will be very helpful in your decision process.

im debating between pro kit for is250 1.4f 1.0r .. or tein s-tech 1.6f 1.2r
but i was doing some searching and saw some member's car with s-tech that had a huge front gap and small rear gap on s-tech.. that makes me wonder if they're realiable and consistent..
can anyone post pics car on pro kit for is250?? not the pro kit for 350 since its only 1.0f .8r
thanks
