I saw the stance of an IS250 with FSport Springs and shocks at the Long Beach Grand Prix car show this last weekend. It looks great! Very clean.

So I talked to 2 local Lexus Dealerships this week on getting my own set of F Sport springs.

Heres what I found out.

1. Dealers will price match the cost of the springs if seen cheaper at another dealer. I got Keyes here in LA and Glendale to go down to $275.00 of the F Sport Springs

2. If the dealer installs the springs they will warranty the work and your stock struts/shocks for up to 4 years or 50,000 miles.

3. Cost of install is 2 hours of labor per Spring!? They want $900.00! just to install these things. The dealer is freakin crazy. I told them I could do the whole job myself in 2 hours using the hand jack that comes with the spare donut. 8 hours of work is just crazy.

4. If you do the work yourself. They will warranty the springs for 1 year. and you lose the warranty on the rest of your suspension. The rest of your warranty stays the same.

Actually, Dealers are not allowed to warrant the parts for four years. This is why you can't "preorder" them on your vehicle before purchase. And ALL Lexus warranties will cover all parts installed (expect after market) unless the after market part is the reason for the failure. And, the parts don't have to be installed by Lexus to be covered under the 1-year warranty.
