Cutting springs to make even drop - bad idea??
I know we end up with driver side lower than passenger side with any lowering springs so coilovers are recommended to solve this issue.
I was just wondering, what if the springs were cut a little on the passenger side to make it even? I know cutting springs is a bad thing, but I just thought about it since I'm getting my Eibach springs installed tomorrow. Any comments?

yeah if you are going to do anything then you should just remove the spring insulator from the bottom of the passenger coil. Then you are just decreeing the preload of the coil. I would then use the tein coil wrap.

I got the Eibach Prokit for IS350 installed yesterday. The springs were not cut. So, there is more gap on the passenger side, but that's what you get if you don't spend more for coilovers, I guess. The ride, by the way, was very good. This was first spring ever to change on any of my car and I expected loss of ride quality, but I barely notice a difference from regular stock suspension. Only thiing is that the drop was not as much as I thought, but hopefully it will drop a little more as the springs settle.
