30 seems a little low to me. You could get wear on the inside and outside of your tires from running too low....couple that with a camber issue, and you might just get lots of inner tire wear.
But I don't think 30psi is low enough for what you're describing...it has to be something else.
Isn't Factory spec 37psi in the rear and 35psi in front?
Wow, something's wrong - I've had my 350 Eibachs for over 2 years, and I've never had any uneven wear problems. My stock tires have over 25,000 miles on them (of which 18,000 came riding on Eibachs) and the tires are still useable.
Thanks for all the advice guys! Im on the stock rims and the tire i am using is the Goodyear F1 All season. I just got my alignment done last week and they said that it wasn't that bad. I also asked them what the problem was and they told me "It looks like its spinning"? But even if they were spinning it wouldn't wear out that quickly. And i never drive my car hard. He says that just because i am 19 years old in a IS350!
I do have one question. Are you spinning your tires? Sounds like you are. I agree an occasional spin isn't going to do that, but you spin enough and you will see wear. I think you ask 10 people on here what their definition of driving hard is and you will get 10 different answers. I have a friend that went through a couple sets of rear tires and would swear his tires were defective. He used to spin his tires all the time. But he never saw it that way. Either way, go have the alignment checked by an different shop like everyone suggest and see what they have to say.
I don't understand on some of these threads where people say they have a problem, other members offer a lot of good suggestions, but they just keep complaining about it and don't seem to follow the very advice they ask for.
