It was a small area on the bottom of the caliper.

i dont think so, from what i know, but i can be wrong. the is300 wheel spoke design seems to be too inward to make a bbk fit.

did anyone end up using the stock sc brake lines into the ls400 brakes? i end up using mine but the screws... screws into the calipers but however the side piece next to the screw does not line up with calipers is it still safe to use the stock sc brake lines?

I just did the install of the LS calipers and they look great and feel good when i brake hard but is it suppose to be musshy when i hit the brake under normal braking ???????

Did you have new rotors/pads? I suggest you break them in first before braking hard... Did you bleed the lines properly?

they have been broken in properly and I did bleed them so i dunno how did urs feel before and after the swap

Must be the anti-lock brakes working then. I have SS lines but its not as hard as what I was hoping it to be. Overall, its definitely a good upgrade.
