Default Probably would not do it again

I installed Eibach Pros on my 07. My last car was an 02 330i and I wanted to achieve the lower stance and "oneness" with the road that the 330 had in my IS350. My IS is, given how much faster it is (plus that controls in the cabin all work and ***** doesn't break all the time like the BMW) is much more fun to drive overall. The springs do make it handle like a slot car, but driving in the SF Bay Area, it is a bone jarring ride, I bring carpoolers to wrok everyday and I'm betting none of them will get an IS for fear of their fillings falling out. Make no mistake, looks cooler, handles awesome at speed, but the luxury ride is totally shot. It feels like I need a new suspension at times. Open to suggestions on how to improve this BTW!
Good luck!

Worth the money? Yes.

Should you get full coilovers instead? Yes, if you wish to put that much money in.

I installed the F Sport lowering springs on my IS & love the dramatic difference. I was a little worried about the ride before deciding to have them installed but I have to admit, it still rides like a Lexus. I do wish the front was just a little lower but no regrets. Highly recommended.

actually, if you check the 2is alignment thread, you'll see that the 2is alignment will actually remain within factory specifications with lowering springs that drop the car about an inch or so (h-techs, s-techs, pro-kits, df210's, f-sports, etc.).

i don't see how your suspension can be "messed up" if you reduce your ride height AND have your alignment remain within factory specifications.

also, for such a sporty car as the 2is, a lowered ride height actually improves handling. after installing my s-techs, the handling behavior feels much more improved over the sports package.

that, and aesthetically speaking, the lowered ride height looks much, much better.

How much detail do you want on how bad lowering can be? There's LOTS.
