i choose to (have to..!) go to a performance alignment place that also does race cars, drift cars, etc. they dont use normal racks they have a pit they drive the cars on to with pad things on each wheel.. never actually watched but i think it lifts the car from beneath and takes weight off the wheels. then theyre all hooked to a computer which they work on. i dont get mine done but pretty sure they use the pressure pads for corner weighting etc as well if you want that done.

theres only a couple of places i can go

Where'd you take it to? TRU line/wheel, whatever it's name is has a pit too for future reference. They have a shop right off the 52, exit Kearny I think.

Can't beat FREE. Homie hookups are the best. Tru line is a bit pricey but they can get the job done especially when other places won't attempt to get your car on the rack.

^^yea im on JIC's..i got mine through a local shop here in san diego called Speed Alliance..they retail for about $2400..but most places will probably sell em for $1900-2200..u jus gotta bargain a lil..and paying full in cash helps..but these coils go lower than anyone would ever need..even at my height..i still have at LEAST another 3-4" to go

im going to meet with a shop manager at this local shop about want i want to do with the car. he is offering me a sponsorship and wants me to go air but.. im such a noob about air and have to do alot of research before i take that jump.

do you regret or wish you went air instead? besides just to get lower..?

im sure you get asked about and im sorry to ask again but.. hows the ride and handling for everyday? im sure il have to cut a hole for the control arm as well.. hrmm

i daily drive mine everywhere i go

air would be more practical if you're going show style. can lay it out for the look at shows, and then raise it to prevent damage when dailying.

coilovers you can theoretically slam it and sit low all the time but if you daily your car you know it isnt real practical, so you have to compromise.

i love coilovers and their ride quality..my ride is pretty damn smooth..i would say..pretty close to stock..even at my height..i do come to some obstacles tho..speed bumps and steep driveways n such..those are the only times i wish i had air..because i scrape on everything..but at the same time..people look at me and are probably thinkin..."damn hes gangsta!" haha..so if i had to say anything..people get more props for being slammed on coils than sayin ur on air..i get props all the time..not tryna brag..but im jus sayin..also if anything i would have to say..coilovers will last probably 3 times as long as a UAS set up..especialy if u like to ride low..hope this info helps/made sense

edit..also..if that shop is willing to sponsor u with free stuff and whatnot.why not jus do it and get all the benefits?? if that was the case..i would definately go air
