So I've had f-sport springs on my 08 IS250 about a month after the f-sport line was released. Since then I've forgotten how the stock ride felt until today. I was given a loaner car for my 15k service, an 07 or 08 IS250. I must say, the f-sport felt a lot like stock expect a tad harsher, but not by much. Also, the f-sport felt a bit sportier than the stock suspension. On the downside, the stock did make less suspension noises over bumps versus the f-sport. Needless to say, I still think the f-sport suspension is nicer, lower, sportier, more aggressive, and almost stock. Just given my 2 cents.

I've had my f-sport springs installed by one of my techs at the Lexus Service Dept. that we work at, and there is a clunk when going over certain bumps/road imperfections. It doesn't bother me as much as thought it would from reading all these posts. I'd like for there to be no noise, but I'll deal with it for the time being.

for those who haven't ordered the silencers yet, I called my dealership and complained about the clunk on the F-sport which they installed for me, and they have a TSB for it. They told me to bring my car in, and now no clunk

Did they say what they did, or what the TSB said?

I think they said there is a TSB, but didn't go into detail, and as soon as i called and told them I have this problem, they said they know about it, and told me to bring it in. later when my mechanic was working on my car, i looked at the rear springs, they wrapped both sides although i complained only one side is making noises. This was done last Nov or Dec, i haven't had any problems since.

We put all the F-Sport suspension goodies on a buddy's AWD IS, and it only needed one spring insulator on each of the rears...
My RWD IS needed two insulators on each of the rears... on the 2nd and 4th coils
btw, this eliminated the clunking. When I get in to work tomorrow I can find out the toyota part number if anyone wants it.

Has anything been done by lexus to remedy the situation internally or is the best bet still the tein rubber covers??
