Default Valve stem hitting supra tt calipers

I just installed supra tt front calipers thanks to revlis240. After the install on the way home I heard clicking. I realized that my valve stem is hitting the calipers, and my caps are now deteriorated.
My question is this, has any1 came across this problem? What did u do? Or any suggestions other than getting spacers?

You can have a shop install shorter valve stems.

i went to Glendale, Just Tires. They said that my valve stems are the shortest they come. they are about an inch long, maybe a little longer. Do you think I would be able to use the "L-Shaped" Valve stems?

Probably a "L" shaped valve stem with less than a 90 degree bend would work. I have a friend that works at Just Tires in the San Gabriel Valley, I can ask him about it for you.

He said that it should work. I don't think Just Tires carries the "L" shaped stems so its probably a good idea to go to another tire shop that caters to the "high performance" crowd.

You can get ones shorter than that that are still straight. I've seen them. Don't know where to get them tho..

You can get them at O Reilly Auto Parts or Autozone.

Just ask for them..and they're super cheap. This shouldn't be an issue.

It actually look's like funky wheel design though too..with them putting the valve stem right there.

1" is not the shortest

My OZ rims came with flush valve stems,
when I put the cap on, it blends in like all the rivets, and you really can't tell where the stem is.
