Tanabe Sustec Pro-Five is made in Japan, dont know about Tein, anyone?

Tein CS is made in Japan as well.

well if TEIN is good enough to have a phony manufacturing problem, they must be pretty damn good, and therefor high in demand.

i'm struggling on this issue too as its my next upgrade. i'm going to upgrade to the remote control later if i feel i want it, but as i've read the thread it sounds like maybe TEIN has a higher manufacturing quality and therefor might last longer?

there has to be some kind of explanation between the two. i'm personally looking for the CS type of coil, designed for comfort (low spring rate?) but with the inherent benefits of a coilover system.

Well since I'm the OP, I did go with the Tein CS + EDFC and love them!

did you guys know that tanabe can also make up custom spring rates on their set ups. so if you really know what you are looking for you might want to try tanabe and customize the rates
