mk3 lsd is only compatible with the is300.

you can buy the mk4 supra lsd

the following work in our cars:

mk4 supra turbo 6sp- whole pumpkin just bolts up
mk4 supra turbo auto- diff itself drops into the sc300 auto pumpkin
mk4 supra NA- rare lsd option drops right in

weld the diff(i got that)

jdm soarer lsd- whole pumpkin

i have an is350 lsd pumpkin with axles laying around and i will try to put it in or see what that entails or if at all it is possible. front a first glance it looks very similar. when i get back from CT i will attempt it

sorry buddy but you got it backwards.

the supra TT 6sp has a bigger pumpkin and bigger diff. the diff in the mk4 supra tt 6sp is a 12 bolt that mounts the ring gear to the torsen diff.

the mk4 supra tt auto is the same size as the sc300 diff, also has 10 bolt holes on the diff for the ring gear mount and would drop right in.

i have a mk4 supra TT 6sp torsen right now in my garage collecting dust because i bought it to try to swap before i joined the forums and learn that little detail of the difference between auto and manual torsen diffs.

btw if you wanna attemp to drop the 6sp torsen into the sc300 pumpkin be my guest. ill sell you the diff for cheap. 150 shipped and its all yours. its in excellent shape. whats your paypal. lol. JK

do a search on Blizzy's diff threads and you will see the full explanation and writeup.

Ok I see what your saying. Totally agree there.

But 6 speed whole pumpkin bolts up is misleading cos you need axles and a driveshaft. But you're totally correct in saying so.

I think about the Supra Turbo Auto pumkin bolts up because the pumpkin is the same as the sc300. Only thing needed is to swap the yokes a new pinion nut.

I swapped the whole pumpkin from a Auto turbo supra because I didn't want to get into swapping ring gears and setting up rear differentials in my driveway. Went down from 3.94(stock sc400 ratio) to 3.76 (auto turbo supra ratio). It didn't make much difference.

I'm going to go back and edit my post so noone in the future reads what I say and actually attempt to put the 6 speed diff into the auto pumpkin.

The 6 speed setup is the way to go if you want to go bulletproof, but it's expensive.
