Do you think its time to change the brakes or could this be something else? When I step on the brake it feels like I have to almost go to the ground with the pedal to get it to stop. The thing is there is no grinding or anything like the pads are worn away. So Im wondering if I need to change the brakes or if maybe it could be something else.

Carson Toyota (www.l-tunedparts.com) has the master brake cylinder for your car for $284.04 if you ever need one. For a limited time, you can use the coupon code: CLOEM for a 5% discount. Labor should be quick. I was able to do a master brake cylinder job in about 30 minutes. Just make sure the brakes or bled afterwards.

And Bench bleed or have the master cylinder bench bled first before installing. I'd just pay someone else to do it... It can get really messy... ~$20bucks is a fair price for bench bleeding.
Have someone depress the brake pedal (once the master cylinder is mounted) while you attach the brake lines to it so no air is allowed to enter the system.
Do you have any leaks?
Try bleeding the brakes? (start from RR,LR,RF,LF)
If your Master cyl is leaking internally your brake booster should/could have fluid inside it. Normally it's dry.
