Thanks, that's what I got. I called Butler tire, they are a little high but I think I may use them anyway since they seem to do a good job with all the cars they showcase at the auto-show. $534 for installation

Cool. They did a 4 wheel alignment for mine so that adds to the cost. Worth it though. Bill knows how to turn a wrench. He maintains vintage military helicopters as a hobby.

I ended going to Big 10 tires near my office for the convenience and price too. $505 for all 4 shocks and alignment.

The Bilstein HDs are the truth. I can immediately notice the the floating feeling is gone. Wow!

I've gone through this thread and saw the prices quoted for the shocks to be installed and they are really high. I had the same shocks and also lowering springs installed for only $275. This was at a reputable shop that does all sorts of custom work. My alignment will be done soon and should not cost me a lot. The shocks, springs and alignment total will cost me no more than $380 or so. Glad you like the shocks but you shouldn't have spent that much to have them installed.

I know I paid a little more but after driving BMWs for the past 12 years, I would have paid almost anything to get rid of the floating feeling. It was almost rocking me to sleep on my commute. In fact I almost sold the Lexus after 3 weeks of ownership until I found out about the Bilstein "fix " last month

Give us a review of the HD's! Are you using the stock springs?

The Bilstein HD's with stock springs are great, they have totally eliminated the floating feeling which almost made me sell the car after 3 weeks of ownership, considering I have exclusively driven BMWs for the past 12 years. It also gives th car a more confident handling. The only slight downside I have noticed is thatthe rear shocks makes a firm thudding sound sometimes when you go over speed bumps.
