Bilstein shock and struts for 03 GS430?
I have searched for Bilsteins HD shocks and struts for my 03 GS430 and it doesn't seem that they have shocks for this car. But I have also read of several guys on here who have installed them on their cars.
Where do I get this set and how much do they cost. Are that a direct fit or does it have to be modified. Any good shop in the Atlanta area that anyone can recommend for installation?
Thanks

Bilstein says they don't sell shocks for a 2003 GS430, but they all fit. I just bought four Bilstein sport shocks for a 2000 GS400 and they fit on my 2003 GS430 no problem. Same deal with springs.
I would buy them from autozone, thats where i bought mine. You might pay like $20-$30 dollars more for all four rather than buying from internet retailers, but autozone is authorized bilstein dealer, so it will guarantee you the lifetime bilstein warranty.

Ok, I got a quote from Mieneke to install all four. Their labor is $420. Will you guys trust Meineke to do your installation? They are the cheapest I have found, everyone else wants $600+.
The parts are $469 on shox.com.

Sholaesq,
Go see my friends at Butler tire in Doraville. You will not be disappointed. Consider doing springs and even ball joints at the same time.

They can inspect them and let you know. The labor for springs is almost free when doing the struts, so if you intend to move up to 18 inch wheels I would do springs as well. Eibach prokit was my choice. Just a 1" drop, but very livable in terms of ride quality.
