Scaras bend very easily. You have to drive very carefully, especially on stretched tires. I say you don't paint them black. The diamond cut is beautiful and shows off the centercap better. Black hides everything.

I will have to be much more careful from here on out, however, I do have a set of 18" BBS LMs for my S2000 that I'm no longer using. I'll have to think about using them on the GS with some spacers as my dailies and save the Scaras for weekend and show use only.

I'm thinking of getting them refinished as well.

Let me know what you guys think.

Dunno....that's not me or my car. That's a pic I posted just to show how the black face wheel would look.

I'm guessing those wind/rain visors are the Lexus/Toyota pieces. For some reason, I think they are right around $200

If I remember correctly the scaras are cast which is why you probably bent them so fast, they are good quality wheels but cast nonethless which will bend a lot easier than Forged wheels. Even still man I love the way your car sits and the scaras whioch are one of my favorite wheels on earth becuase of that step lip look awesome on your. I always have loved the RMM kit's lines. they way you have it dropped is perfect. Congrats...

Also one piece of advice I would see about getting the mesh to go behind the lower opening in the front bumper, that will make a nice diffeence..

Urmil's car rocks.

The best is when his wife and kid showed up at my old office.
All these soccer mom mini vans and Volvo's. In between it all...A Dropped GS.

I bent the two on the left fast because of Chicago streets. I know alot of SoCal guys complain about their streets, but they haven't seen anything until they've driven lowered cars in Chicago. There's a reason why Chicagoans are better auto-x'ers than all others...it's the daily training we get in Chi-city.

Actually it's a combination of things that caused it: the streets, the lip on the wheels, and specifically on the front the Nexxen tires. I will be swapping out the Nexxen/Goodyear tires on the car with some Bridgestones. If they come in the sizes I need, I'll get the S03's.

Bridgestone tires have some of the stiffest/strongest sidewalls out there.

As for the front, there is mesh on the bumper openings. It just can't be seen in those pics. I do need a new undertray though.

Thanks on the props!!!
