Default Just had bearings replaced

Hi i just had my bearings replaced.
there was no grinding noise before i had them replaced,i get the car back and there is grinding from the drivers side, guy told me they need to wear themselves in.
Is this true or is the guy filling me a load of you know what.
i would really appreciate if someone could let me know if this is true.

Sounds kinda of weird to me, I never heard of a wheel bearing needing a break in, not to mention noise coming from a new bearing.

they're shouldn't be any noises coming from those bearings. Better ask the mechanic if he remembered to clean the bearings and if he put enough grease on them as well.

dude did not pack grease in the bearings correctly. that would pretty much sum up your little grinding sound.
