Default SUPRA break kit

I was wondering if the OEM SUPRA break kit will bolt directly for front and rear on my GS.

If so, what year SUPRA and,

What do I need to make this work?

Also, are the SUPRA's rotors bigger than the GS3'S?

thanks for the help?

Anyone have pics>

I have Supra front brakes on my car. The rotors are bigger (just under 13") with larger 4 piston calipers as well. They will bolt right up to your Gs, you need to be sure that your front brakes will clear the much larger Supra calipers, not all wheels will.

I have *heard* the rear calipers bolt up as well but it's really not worth it for the $$$ as not much of your braking comes from the rear and the Supra calipers are not much different than the stock Gs rear calipers.

As far as the upgrade you will notice a big difference in braking, especially from high speed.

Pic below is with iForged wheels on my Gs300.

fronts yes MKIV supra from 1993-1997 TT. The rears will not fit but are said to be similar and not worth attempting to make them fit.

If you want the rears LS430 rear brakes will fit. I think you need to do a little modifying but they will work..

Do you guys know how much thicker the Supra front brakes are compared to the stock GS? I have Zauber Gettins and it looks like there is a lot of room to add a BBK but I'm not sure. I tried to measure the caliper to the back of the spokes and it appears there is about 1.5" gap.

1.5" is more than enough to clear the supra brakes.

well what you need lettuce is the supra brake pads, supra rotors, and the caliper itself. and maybe the hardware kit. thats about it, but im not sure if you have to change the brake lines.

i have the calipers for now i didnt have wheels to clear them so i did not bolt them up.

1/4" probably isn't enough to clear the brakes at all. At least a minimum of 10mm is required.

Calipers, rotors, pads, shims, and wheels that'll clear the calipers. You can use the stock brake lines but doesn't fit perfectly. There's a "hook" (sorry, hard to explain) that just barely doesn't fit.

yes, bigger.
