Does anyone have a DIY on changing the brake pads?
I searched and didnt find much. banana gs has one, but it was for a supra caliper. my question is, how do i push back these two cylinders? the calipers seem to be full faced, do i have to take them apart just to get to the cylinders? thanx in advance!

the cylinders can be pushed back by a piece of lumber and a tire iron, its the same concept for our gs's even though its a supra caliper. or if you have a cclamp, use the old brake pad for support and squeeze the pistons back.
just remove the top bolt and it swings downwards, make sure you have something supporting it when the caliper swings down, you dont want the brake line to hold the weight up. also before you start, make sure the sliding pin is not stuck and it moves freely.

A large C clamp and an old pad works best for pushing the piston back in. One thing I do warn, is do one side at a time. Once you have installed it, push the brake pedal some to get the piston back out. The main reason, is if you push both pistons in on both brakes, it could cause your fluid to over flow (depending on how full). Its a pretty quick procedure, as long as you have the right tools.

yea, what scottgs said is right. if you forget to push your pistons back up before driving, it takes a couple of pumps before it engages. you might get into a accident if you drive forward and need to brake fast.
lol i had this avatar from a old forum i use to be on, it swings alot faster here for some reason? :X
