Default best spring/shock combo [dun wanna do coilovers...too exp]

Hi,

I've looked around and I didn't come across a good spring/shock combo. Kinda don't want to get coilovers because I don't really need the perfect adjustments.

I just want like 1.5inch drop and a soft ride (like stock or even more comfortable than that)

thanks!

Lowest drop for springs are the Tein S tech....

you wont feel like stock if you want a drop like that...

even if you got the F-sport setup with the shocks you won't feel stock. Best bet will be to get the coil overs so you can adjust the ride quality. Just spend the little extra. I wish I did.

You might want to consider the live search cash back with ebay. Got my new tanabe sustec pro 5 coils for only $650 after the cashback. Otherwise, i used to have the tein s, and it have pretty good drop and comfort. Good luck

umm no springs will give u a soft ride but will be close to stock. if u want a 1.5 drop then most likely u will sacrifice some comfort. only way is coilovers if u want that drop and stock comfort nuttin beats coilovers cuz u can adjust both. good luck and post some pics if u do drop the car.

how are the TEAS like do they have to continuously change settings or can it stay in one setting? Tein+EFDC or TANABE+TEAS, What's their differences?

efdc - http://www.tein.com/products/edfc.html

The EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) makes it possible for the driver to control the damping force at the touch of a button while in the driverfs seat. This is accomplished by controlling stepping motors installed on each shock absorber. Because the damping force can be controlled with such ease, the driver can adjust the suspension to suit all road/track conditions. Thus allowing the driver to fully enjoy the driving experience.
teas - http://www.tanabe-usa.com/coilovers/TEAS.asp

TEAS is a fully programmable dampener controller that allows for dampening force to be automatically adjusted while driving. TEAS accomplishes this by connecting and using the signal from the vehicle's Speed Sensor.

When TEAS is in Manual Mode, dampener settings will stay fixed to the points they are set at. Up to four memory slots may be used to store Manual Mode settings.

Manual Mode allows front or rear dampener settings to be individually adjusted by manual input, or recalled from any of the four saved settings..
