Default Lowering!

You guys with the F-sport springs, did you also buy the f-sport shock absorbers? what is the difference with them and with the stock ones? Is it ok to use the springs with the stock shock absorbers?
As you can see im new at all this! Also, about how much lower can you get with the springs?
THANKS

you can use the springs with stock struts with no issues. the f-sport struts may lower the car slightly more but are mainly for enhanced performance. some of the other guys may be able to shed some more light on this.

there's another thread on this. Seems like with the f-sport shock, the car feels more floaty. i'm running stock shocks with them, no complaints so far, except the infamous clunk noise that comes from the rear.

i hear it mostly from the right rear, and i don't have rubber silencers. I'm taking it back to the dealer to see what they say. It's covered under warranty since they did the installation for me, so I should have no worries.

i don't have f-sport springs, but i run my s-techs w/ stock shocks, and i see no problems using stock shocks w/ aftermarket springs on the 2is.

f-sports are an inch all around, i think? a search should answer your question.
