My old car dropped on Road Magnet prototypes....I think the production springs are not as aggressive. Great ride and great handling....

I just put on my H&R springs that I bought from B2Designs (A CL vendor) and I cannot be more impressed with these.

My IS350 went from ugly stock height to a nice aggressive drop. I have a one finger clearance in the back, two finger clearance in the front so far (and I just installed them yesterday).

Springs are a good option for those who are wanting to save their money for other things, those who don't want to rebuild their coilovers (If you're a daily driver like me... I put 150 miles on my car a day), and/or like to keep the car at that ride height and don't have the passion to go "slammed".

My car's handling seems quite improved. I have a few twisty's on the freeway (going from one freeway to another) that I have noticed I can go about 10-15mph faster on and feel comfortable in compare to when I had it at stock height; I don't have sways.

I'll post pictures tomorrow when it's not all dark and rainy, but my car looks like mistaisboi's ride before he got coilovers (on the first page).

Good luck, don't feel weird about putting German on your car

Hi guys, I'm sure this has been beaten to death. But, I need help, and advise. I'm a girl an don't want to get ripped-off. What shop can I take it to, in Torrance, or San Gabriel Valley, Ca.
I was quoted $378.00 for Tein and not including installation. Is that a good price? Sorry, if I posted in wrong forum. New to this.

Otto, buy the springs from a Club Lexus vendor. You can find them under the classifieds section. I bought my springs from B2Designs and they're a good company to deal with so I recommend them. I believe they sell Tein for the low $200s.

As for finding a reputable shop, go to the regional section of the forums and you may get more response there. As for finding a reputable shop, just search around forums and online. Look at reviews of places, ect. Go to different places and get quotes and get a feel for the people that you get the quote from.

Believe me, sometimes shops will be either nicer to you because you're a girl or will take advantage of the fact they think you don't know crap.

Good luck and welcome to the forums.
