Supra rotor fitment issues
#17
just swapped rotors. the noise is gone. this is a HORRIBLE design flaw. I better get a full refund. Also tried calling, no one picked up. I don't have time to deal with this BS. uploading video right now...
Also, no email response yet. And looks like the G35 drivers are having issues with R1 Concepts as well.

sorry for the horrible quality video. but you get the idea.

yeah, it really is since a lot of lexus owners seemed to be happy with their product. I swapped back to my OEM and I think my R1 Concepts were slightly warped also since I have less vibration under braking. Sad I only had them for a month and only used for daily driving.

Update:
finally got a hold of them...and I'm really confused with their customer service. I talked to their reps and he was really nice. He's sending me a new set of rotors and a shipping label so I can ship one old rotor back and they can inspect it.
GSTeg, you were right, they do stand by their products. We'll see how these new ones do once I get them.

I am slightly confused, shouldn't you have serious issues with lug nuts loosening if your rotor is able to move between your hub and wheel. Torquing the assembly down should keep everything locked down? There will always be a slight over sized hole with brake rotors as they are hub centric not lug centric.

well, I've been running these R1concept blank rotors for a while now and so far no huge mechanical defects.
I got brand new set of rotors drilled to specifically fit. I think it's sliiiiiiiiightly warped but besides that, no issues. Does a good job at stopping for street driving.
...d'oh, i forgot to do this!
