Default Camber off

My GS400's rear camber adjustments are as follows: Rear left, -1.9 and rear right, -1.5. Will this have a major effect on handling and traction. If I do install the Exacts, rear camber adjutemt kit, will I see a big improvement. Please help.

Question

First off, what is it you want to do? Your post is very broad.

Do you simply want to reduce the negative camber? Are you on aftermarket wheels? What's your suspension set-up?

Under the assumption you are on stock wheels, your current negative camber specs are quite close to OEM specs. If I remember correctly, the maximum negative camber you may get within OEM spec is -1.7°.*

Does the negative camber affect traction and handling? Not really unless you're taking a turn more aggressively than normal. If so, your car would stick to the ground a little more. Of course, this is under the assumption you are on stockers.

By seeing a "big improvement", you're simply reducing inner tire wear with the camber kit.

*I assume the camber specs from the printout I received from Tire Kingdom are OEM specs. If it is wrong, my bad.

You'll just get inner tire wear. The left (rear) tire will wear out slightly quicker than the right rear tire because of the extra -0.4° camber.

Too much neg. camber leads to inner tire wear. In fact, I believe most cars require a small amount of negative camber as norm.
