Default TRD front tower bar

Coming to find out today that putting the TRD front tower bar with spacer (*which i waited a month from carson*)on my 2jz-ge does not fit.... what it does it hit the throttle which will NOT full engage when u try to step on the gas.... i just wanted to point that out to everyone so they dont need to waste there time...

Absolute hogwash! I have the front TRD STB on my SC as well and mine fits just fine...Although, I gotta admit that it's been a bit of a "balancing act" All you really need are 2 pairs of spacers (Which I got from a local junkyard) a couple of washers (For the passenger's side) and you need to remove your Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS) shield...After all that installation process is complete, Your TRD STB shouldn't even be hitting the intake manifold and should have at least half an inch of clearance...It should only be hitting the intake manifold when you turn really hard. (Which is only brief anyways, LOL!).

Adding on all these spacers and washers defeat the purpose of having the brace in the first place unless one does it purely for cosmetics.

thats what i have been saying. the shear force is applied to the bolts is not good either. so far the only one i have seen that actually works well is the carbing. it also has a built in master cylinder stopper.

Carbing is awesome. There have been speculations that carbing supplies braces for TRD (2GS), without having to pay a premium for the name

Agreed, I got it more for the master cylinder stopper than for the bar itself.
