Suspension and Brakes Springs, shocks, coilovers, sways, braces, brakes, etc.

I'm tired of cleaning the brake dust off of my wife's IS250. SO...

how do i know if im buying the right oem pad (low dust)..? I just replace mind from lexus about 500 miles ago on my is350, and im still gett hella brake dust..

You didn't get the low dust ones.

They have different part numbers (see the TSIB for the part #)

when i replace it, i only had the car for a couples of days, and didnt know nothing about this. If i were to get the right one, my wheels shouldnt get black in a couple of days..? in a half of day of driving i can write my name on it.. lol

If you get the TSIB pads they won't be as black after a month as they are after 1-2 days with the old pads.

Yeah, ugly, but the second issue is nice and cheap; just drive and use your brakes.

Only that doesn't get rid of the rust around the outside of the rotor, or in the venting...

Its assumed he was talking about the face of the rotors, where most people look with regard to aesthetics and this complaint... If not, he'll have to find an alternative to his cast iron rotors.

Technical Service Information Bulletin (TSIB)

Your cars VIN would need to qualify within a range outlined in the most recent TSIB, to be applicable for a free replacement of the low-dust pads from your dealer.

No VIN ranges outlined in the brake dust TSIBs, just models and model years.
