The damper itself typically has little to play in the ride height, that is mainly set by the spring.
Over time it's natural for the drivers side to sag a little. Have you measured the difference to see how much they are actually out?
Matt.

its .25'' difference but its not just that the drivers side sits lower but its almost raised all the way up thats why its confusing...i would understand if it was set at the same height on the coils and one would sit a bit lower..and also the strut has nothing to do with height does it?

after you adjust the height of the spring take a lap around the block trying to hit some bumps. the coilovers will settle a little then asses the height and repeat if needed.
