So guys, there’s no camber kit for the x50. My front tires are pretty much all gone (there’s no thread on the inside of the tires) My question for you guys that are dropped, what do you guys about the camber being off? I'm dropping on h&r springs, I’ve had them on the car since March. Other than buying tires every 7 months, what’s the best thing to do?

what do you mean flip the tires? Not like we can rotate them, theres no point of taking left to right and right to left, it'd be the same thing

no it won't... our tires are rotational tires so it has to be facing a certain way... so if you take the front or rear tires off the right and left side and you flip them... the "worn" side of the tire would be on the outer ends

Wow you've only been dropped for 7months and your tires are gone?!?! When I was on S-techs, I was on them for a bit and there was barely any indication of negative camber.

7months, about 10k miles..my drops real low, 1.4"f 1.3" rear...rear tires are perfectly fine..it pisses me off that no1 makes a correction kit for the camber on any of the new lexus' and theres no way around having a normal camber

no I didn’t get an alignment...I was at my friends shop these last few days getting my tires mounted back on my rims and he even mention that my camber is so off that not even an alignment would of corrected it or even prevented it from happening, he has been in the business forever, I didn’t have him check out the tires to see if they can be flipped or not, I wasn’t even sure if that was possible. I have the stock Bridgestone tires on the car, are you guys sure they can be flipped? Maybe the alignment would of helped, i'm not sure :\

I'm about 2" drop all around and my camber is within specs. Its -2.3 on the front wheels. No abnormal tire wear for me after alignment.

Im currently drop on Tein CST. I dont know the extact drop rate for front in back mabye [1.8F and 1.3R]. I drop my car for about 3 weeks now and i brought in for alignment they told me the same thing that they cant fix the camber but they give it a lil bit of toe in or toe out to help the tires wear last a lil bit longer. So i guess u should bring it in to fix the toe. They told me with the toe and camber i have, the tires should last me between 15,000 to 20,000miles. Im in the process of testing it out too. So yeah haha..

Anytime you drop a car, you must do an alignment. All the settigns are impacted, not just camber. Did your friend who has 'been in the business forever' do the drop? If so, he seems to be missing a key piece of knowledge

The S-techs drop about the same so your H&Rs arent that different. Physically I dont think the H&Rs even drop what they claim, cause in pics its no where close to the Teins

Yeah I’m aware that you need to get an alignment after a drop, i just never came around to do it, no time my friend. And no he didn’t do the drop, one of my friends did it at his shop, everything is torqued to spec, nothing wrong with the drop other than the notorious uneven driver side being lower than passenger side...the guy i was talking about just does rims/tire work, nothing else.

How are your S-Techs? Mind posting some pics? I wouldn't mind switching to S-Techs

I have been on my S-TECH's for about 4 months and I haven't gotten an alignment yet and my inside TREAD of my tires ARE all gone. It was starting to show the steel wires so I got new tires in the front.
