to those with dropped cars..
So obviously the is350 looks 100x better dropped, but im scared to do it, cause lexus is known for there ultra smooth ride. does dropping it take away all of that? do you feel every little bump in the road? do to the suspension being so much stiffer?
also does anyone make camber kits for the is350?
thanks -kyle

Just buy a nice set of coil overs, they will give it a sportier look and feel, they are affordable, and if you don't like it just return it to stock , not much lost. I havn't heard many complaints after people have dropped the car.

Lowered is better...
The ride depends on:
1. What type of coilovers you get
2. How low or high you adjust it (this will also determine how your car will look as well)
3. Road conditions
4. What type of driver you are
If you go for comfort...Tein CS
If you want both lowered look and comfort...Tanabe Sustec Pro 5
If you want lowered look...Tein SS
If you want slammed look...Air Bags or Megan Coils
*Just remember...you are driving it, so if you can tolerate it low/slammed, go all the way...

pretty much a majority of us are using stock shocks or people who bought f sport springs also bought the f sport shocks together. the spring rate for the aftermarket springs is not much different from the stock springs so we all use our stock shocks but i'm pretty sure the f sport shocks will make a difference if you plan to get them

one thing, if your slammed your GONNA scrape, no way around it no matter how careful you are... AND if your not scraping~ your not low enough
as for the ride... from my own experience, Eibachs ride better than stock due to the 'progressive' nature of the springs. Coils are better due to the adjustability of both height and comfort.
AND LASTLY...
Airrunner is the balla setup, no worries about scraping at all.
