Uneven Suspension Settling

Uneven Suspension Settling
In March of this year I installed Tokico shocks and an Eibach pro spring kit on my ’93 SC3. I have some uneven settling in the rear. With 19” rims (and non-stretched rubber) I have about two inches between the tire and the fender on the right side and anywhere from a half to one inch on the left side. The weight distribution in the trunk is even (and I wouldn’t think with the stuff I have in my trunk it would even make a difference). I have had minor rubbing (not even enough to call a problem since it is rubbing the outside of the tire and doesn't appear to be doing any damage) but i'm paranoid about it. In a few weeks I’ll be doing my brakes and was gonna poke around on my suspension to try to find out what’s up with it. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to check/look for?

Was it uneven right after you installed the suspension or it happened over time?
Seems like that is a major height difference between sides.
Double check to see if the endlinks were installed correctly.

Will do. I really hope i don't have to remove the strut because its a pain

You don't necessarily have to remove the strut. Just jack up the car, take off the wheel, and if it's not seated correctly, just compress the spring and turn it. It worked on my buddy's Scion.

I have the same problem with my tanabes. The right side is higher than the left, but just the rear. The fronts are fine.
Lets say the spring is seated correctly, endlinks could cause that problem too? I'm pretty certain my endlinks in the rear could be bad cause everytime I hit a bump, I hear a clunk....
Anything else I should check?

Definitely check the rear suspension components for that clunking sound. Could be just a loose nut on one of the endlinks. Not sure if a worn endlink can alter the height of a corner, but an improperly installed one might be able to. It happened to a member just have to find the thread.

I wouldn't doubt the shocks are old. For all I know they are probably the ones that came from the factory... LOL
I plan on doing over the entire suspension in a week or two so all the shocks are going anyway.

Yes sir! Tanabe NF210's. I didn't think anything of it after the install. Then i started to notice the clunking in the rear. After it didn't settle right I knew something was up.
EDIT:
All the clunking I have been hearing is definitely coming from the LEFT side of the car (Lower side)

I'm having somewhat of the same problem. It is weird because my right side is higher then my left side by about a finger and a half. I'm running on supra eibachs. I have a friend with an IS250 on eibach springs aswell and same thing with him. Maybe its because the left side might be a bit heavier. idk?
I adjusted the seat position of the springs a lil and it helped. It looks a lot more even now, but otherwise the only way I see it getting perfect is through coilovers!
well, good luck man
