LS400 Brake pedal travel

Ryan,
Pull a wheel and have a Bud push the pedal. You sight right down on the pads. They should start out pressed right up close to the rotor. As the pedal is depressed you should see no movement. If you see any then find out why and correct that. See if you have any wheel bearing slop while you are there. No balloons on the flex brake line?
I take my Lex to the dealer and he will diagnois any problem for a single labor hour charge. $87 for the answer and then I get the parts wherever and fix it. Food for thought?

If there was leak then the brake fluid level would drop after a few days and the fluid color would also be darker.
