TEIN CST adjustment
I just recieved my TEIN CST coilvers and i was taking a look at them, of course before installation. It seems like adjusting the height is not too hard, but how do you adjust the stiffness? Poeple talk about how, I have the setting on "4" or "10". I can see a **** on top, that clicks when you turn it, do you turn it left or right for stiffness or softness, and do you leave the rubber piece on it, or take it off? A little help on the current CS or CST owners...?
I'm a little confused, thanks in advance!

all the way right is left is soft right is stiff...rubber piece is just to block dirt and debris from going onto the strut after you install them you can should adjust by feel of the ride. its all preference

The CST's don't have much height adjustment in them, the springs have to remain captive and you have to have a bit of preload on the springs otherwise they are all soft and sloppy.
I started by winding my shocks all the way down to soft, full left, and then wound them up in increments of two until I found them a touch stiff then backed it off.

Yea, if looking at the adjustment **** from the top, clockwise is stiffer and counter-clockwise is softer.
Off topic: I can turn the **** counter-clockwise to fully and not be able to turn anymore. On the other hand, if I turn the **** clockwise I can keep turning even after 16 clicks. Wondering if you guys are experiencing the same thing with your CSTs.

Here is a link to TEIN's installation manual that you can download from their site. http://www.tein.com/tech_info/inst/gkt76u.pdf
I would not advice turning it past 16 as this can cause damage. Take a look at page 7 of the installation manual for CST.

Everyone - hello.
I looked up: http://www.tein.com/tech_info/inst/gkt76u.pdf
I did not find information about temperature control which can be used not destroy Tein Comfort Sport of + ... ºC to - ... ºC.
I live from Russia to the Urals city of Yekaterinburg going to the Lexus SC 300-97. In the winter we have -20º C - normal frost, but sometimes, and -30º C and -40º C.
Help me to know this information about temperature control which can be used not destroy Tein Comfort Sport.
Sincerely, Vadim.
