Where can I buy just the rear sway bar? Most vendors only list the set (Front and Rear).

A normal socket wrench with a breaker bar on it should turn whatever needs turning

As to buying the rear alone, if you really want to do that just buy the AWD bar, it's the rear bar only, and the same part as the RWD rear bar.

does anyone know the stock vs. f-sport sway bar diameters...all the talk of percentage difference and it being different for the 250 and 350 is making no sense to me...

does the 250 come with different sway bars stock from the 350? and if so, what are the diameters....and then, how much bigger are the f-sport sways?

thanks

Yes 250/350 have different bars OEM

F-sport bars are 28.6 mm front and 19 mm rear.

But if you think the size tells you all you need to know to compare two different bars you don't understand how sway bars work.

well i understand that its not just size....but the increased diameter of the sway bar is generally what contributes part of the stiffness (and 50 percent, or 150 percent stiffer are not really tangible measures for me)

that being said, i just wanted to know how much bigger than the stock 250 sway bars the f-sport sway bars are....anyone have any measurements on the oem units?

dont forget the stock bars are big as it is. my mechanic thought it was a waste to get the sways since one of the bars is marignally bigger then stock.

and again, anyone trying to compare swaybars entirely by size isn't really qualified to give an opinion on swaybars.

I have both front and rear.

I must say, I can certainly notice the difference, when I take my usual onRamps / offRamps.

The car sits even at turns with little to no body roll, compared to before, where i was tipping over in my seat.

Now for some stiffer suspension.

I have just the rear on my '08 IS 250 RWD and it does make a difference. Personally I think everyone should replace the rear bar...even if no other mods are done
