Great thread! Just did my front and rear bars, totally worth it! They really shined the first time i drove around one of those loop on ramps. I actually drove back around just to do it again Totally confident handling, very neutral, sway is virtually eliminated. Perfect for a daily driver on stock suspension. Dont plan on ever lowering my car. This was perfect.

I know there are searches but they all come up with the same info RWDsway doesn't fit AWD car front.... now what I am curious is WHY. Basically what are the differences in the sways or the cars. Anyone here know someone who works at Lexus and can measure or anyone have someone that can compare the bars side by side? What if AWD owners don't want this fsport product?
Thanks in advanced.

Btw, you might wish to spray PB Brake Blaster on the nuts that hold the swaybar endlink to the swaybars, then come back an hour later and break them loose. Do this BEFORE taking off the sway bar busing bracket bolts so the sway bar doesnt move around on you.

This is from the is250/350 instructions:
Front sway bar bushing opening slit should face the front of the vehicle. Brackets are 36ftlb, sway bar link nut is 62ftlb, height sensor is 48inlb(INCH LBS!)
Rear sway bar busing slits should face rear. Brackets are 24 ftlb, sway bar link nuts are 66 ftlb.

Anyone experiencing premature wearing of the bushings that came with your sways? I don't know if mine are, but my suspension is clunking whenever I hit a bump with one wheel, front and back. Someone said it might be worn out sway bar bushings? Any idea what else it could be?
To add to this discussion, still loving my swaybar upgrade. Most simple and cost effective upgrade to improve the drivability of the car.

ISF Rears or F sport?
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread guys but I was hoping for somebody to clear some stuff up for me. I really want to get a rear sway bar done for my 08' IS350.
But after reading this gigantic thread I ended up more confused.
Should I purchase the "IS-F" rear sway bar or the "F-Sport" rear sway bar. Are they even the same thing?
If somebody can possibly include the part number for the rear sways I would much appreciate it.
Thanks

1) Just Order F-Sport PN PTR02-53080.
2) You don't have to tell them anything. But, yes this is the old kit for the 250AWD.
3) Yes, it is a 19mm bar.
4) Yes, there will be no fitment issues.
Actually the new kit, has nothing to do with model year. It is for all '06-'09 250AWD models. The old kit, rear 19mm bar only, is being replaced by the new kit.

I have a 2008 RWD IS250. I purchased the F-Sport front and rear bars and they sent me the wrong ones…at least the front bar doesn’t fit. These are for a 2009 and up.
I had to reorder a new set, repack and return the old set to get a refund. Now the new “correct set” has the exact same rear bar, the front one is different.
Do to the insane cold weather around here; I haven’t been able to work on the car. Could someone confirm that the rear bars are the same? The stock one is slightly bended around the center and the F-Sport is completely straight. All the pictures that I see the rear F-sport bar look the same, just want to make sure before I try to install it.
