I have read that the lower subframe needs lowered and you have to "mess with the steering a bit" so I am concerned about doing all this on ramps. Is the subframe on our cars just a brace? Or does it provide the mounting points for the suspension and I am going in over my head. A PITA is fine with me, I just need to know that its actually possible to do in my driveway with just ramps and wrenches.

Also, on a lot of old threads, I see a link to the instructions to install it bu Sewell is gone now and the link no longer works, anyone have the PDF?

Thanks in advance
Anyone on installing the IS250 AWD F-sport front sway in the drive way?

I'd tried and failed -- I wouldn't recommend it.

The ramp just doesn't give enough clearance and leverage to properly install the front sway bars. I was able to do the rear on ramps, but end up taking to a shop for install for less than $100. It's just not worth the hassle. I attached the PDF you can give to a shop -- if they done the install before, it will only take 30 minutes.

On a side note, with the sways being my first suspension/chassis upgrade, what should I look at next? The rear brace? FIG bushings? Coilovers? Bang for my buck is paramount.

Thanks in advance
Figs bushing and coilovers 100% I have both on my 350 AWD(14/10 BCs) and love em, not too stiff

Just got my rear one installed today. Took about an hour of my time, plus got to use my shiny new torque wrench

Can't believe the difference it makes to the rear of the car while turning, it feels so much more planted now. Totally worth the investment.

If you dont have the factory sport suspension you will need new brackets and bolts to mount the rsb

Only if he has an 09+ IS IIRC. Didn't need to change anything on my 08.

I'll +1 Bell Lexus, bought quite a few things from them. They generally ship the same day you order.

Yes, only 2009+ models without sport package require the brackets and bolts. 2006-2008 and 2009+ with sport package do not need them.

Thanks for the heads up on this! Are you referring to the brackets that hold the bushings are the associated bolts? I have an 09 350 without the sport package.

Got F-Sport set for my 2011 IS350. Installed rear one, - 45 min.
Removed plastic cover to install the front one, looked at the sway bar and put cover back.
Did anyone replace 2011 350 at home, on the ramps. Do you need to drop half of the front suspensions to get to the bar?

Did it in my driveway... didn't need to drop the suspension. just loosened all the brackets / bolts and slid the bar out.

Done on ramps in my garage, easy once you get the plastic cover off.
