Default Brake issue

Sometimes when I drive the car after a cold start, after a couple minutes I would get a sudden loss of braking performance when applying the brake and the BRAKE light lid up in the cluster for that moment and goes away. Is there something I should be worried about?

You're probably running low on brake fluid...Time to refill.

Hopefully it didn't go low enough that it introduced air into the system.
